Summary The Intake Admissions Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the admitting process for patients with the goal of providing support to intake counselors, Admission RNs and Mental Health Workers (MHW). Duties include (but not limited to): answering calls and entering appropriate data/notes as it relates to caller, follows up with individuals who did not present for assessment as planned, compiles patient lists for physician and daily flash reports, inventory of patient belongings, AIS data entry, confirming accuracy of patient registration information, preliminary verification of benefits and chart building, to facilitate the beginning of each patient’s treatment.
