Position Summary : The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing clients in all of their ICBC, Private Auto and replacement insurance. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, friendly, and comfortable with working in a high pressure, self-paced environment.  This is a full-time regular position. Responsibilities : • Selling ICBC and private automobile coverage • Develop new business opportunities by securing renewals and cross selling new products • Contact clients for renewal information and updating information as changes occur • Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry • Setting and adhering to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan, Private Auto Sales production • Interpreting and ensuring that insurer and BC Insurance Council rules and regulations are followed • Ensuring control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds • Handling any customer complaints appropriately Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications • Level 1 General Insurance License • 2 years+ in personal insurance experience preferred • Exceptional client service abilities • Strong communication skills both written and verbally • Sales initiative and drive The expected salary range for this position is $41,000 to $55,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
