You will collaborate closely with our U.S. Service team and Finland engineering team during complex installations, learning system-specific expertise while ensuring a seamless transition to long-term customer support. You will perform pre-installation site assessments, communicate facility requirements with customers and planning teams, and conduct functional testing, initial cooldowns, and system validation according to Bluefors installation protocols. You will document system configurations, installation activities, and technical findings to create comprehensive service records for each system throughout its lifecycle. This position requires travel throughout your assigned region, with occasional travel to other regions as business needs require, as well as a 1–2 month training period at our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland. We are looking for a technically skilled, customer-focused professional with at least three years of hands-on experience in field service, systems installation, or technical operations within a precision engineering environment. You are comfortable assembling, validating, and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You understand the importance of thorough technical documentation and consistently produce clear installation reports and service handoff documentation. You enjoy working independently in laboratory and customer environments while collaborating effectively with global teams. Most importantly, you are eager to continuously learn, develop new technical skills, and contribute to exceptional customer experiences.
