Location: Groningen / Delfzijl What you will be doing • Installing navigation and communication systems on board ships. • Performing commissioning and functional tests of systems. • Locating and resolving technical malfunctions during installation and commissioning. • Collaborating with project teams, customers, and suppliers. • Reporting progress, findings, and test results. • Assisting with FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SATs (Site Acceptance Tests). • Working at various shipyards in the Groningen - Delfzijl region. Installation & Commissioning Engineer Are you technically strong and do you feel at home in the maritime world? For our team, we are looking for an Installation & Commissioning Engineer who will install, test, and commission advanced maritime systems on board ships worldwide. You will get to work using the electrical drawings provided by the Engineering department. Connecting the cabling is a precise job. Naturally, you will receive thorough training for this from your colleagues. Administrative duties are also part of your work. You have a checklist that you carefully go through. You will visit all kinds of places on board a ship. Sometimes you work at heights, and sometimes you work in a confined space. So, plenty of variety! You work at various shipyards on newbuild vessels in the Groningen / Delfzijl region. You work closely with colleagues and clients, solve technical challenges, and ensure that systems function safely and correctly. You play an important role in the successful completion of projects. Compliance with safety and quality standards is very important. Occasionally, you visit our head office in Rotterdam. What do you bring? • Experience as an electrician; • A technical educational background in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar; • VOL – VCA diploma; • You live in the Groningen / Delfzijl region; • Hands-on mentality; • Thinks in solutions; • Good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages; • Driving license B; What do we offer you? • full-time position; • expense allowance; • minimum of 32 vacation days; • company car that may also be used privately (subject to tax conditions); • development opportunities within the company.
