JOB OPPORTUNITY Leeward Islands Lifestyle Services Ltd., home to Leeward Islands Hurricane Protection and SignPro is Antigua's leading manufacturer and supplier of hurricane and security shutters. We also offer a wide range of signage products and are known to provide the largest selection of trophies, plaques, and medallions on the island.   We are seeking to recruit an Installation and Service Technician with Electrical Duties to join our dedicated team of professionals. JOB SUMMARY The Installation and Service Technician with electrical duties will be responsible for the professional installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of hurricane and security products for residential and commercial properties. Installation products include but are not limited to Colonial Shutters, Armour Mesh, Bahama Shutters, Storm Panels, Roll Shutters, Inverted Roll Shutters, Accordion Shutters, Sunscreens, and any new product introduced by the company. The Installation and Service Technician with electrical duties will also install and maintain electrical power for installed shutters, perform tests and use results to diagnose problems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare, transport, and secure tools, equipment, and materials for job sites • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE • Assist with fabrication, installation, servicing, and repair of hurricane shutters (roll, accordion, Bahama, colonial, etc.) • Perform minor plastering and painting related to installations • Carry out routine maintenance on existing shutter systems • Install and maintain wiring, control, and shutter systems • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools • Communicate issues to the Team Leader and suggest improvements where applicable • Maintain a clean, organized worksite and secure tools at the end of each workday REQUIREMENTS • A minimum of 5 years working experience as an Electrician • Electrical skills certificate • Experience installing and servicing hurricane shutters (a plus) • Strong understanding of different hurricane shutter types and their operation (a plus) • Proficient in using various hand and power tools • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and problem-solving skills • Strong physical condition with the ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects • Valid driver’s license • Ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions Applications should be submitted by 6th February 2026.
