Description
Copper River Government Solutions is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Inside Sales Associate to support its Federal Sales team. This role is responsible for assisting in the development of new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate will combine sales acumen, administrative precision, and customer-focused communication to help drive revenue growth and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute strategic sales approaches
Conduct pre- and post-sales outreach to ensure customer satisfaction and address concerns
Coordinate and manage lead generation campaigns and prospecting activities
Qualify leads and schedule meetings or opportunities for Account Executives
Maintain and expand prospect and customer data within the CRM system
Generate customer quotes, proposals, and contracts
Support demand generation efforts through cold calling and outreach campaigns
Identify key decision-makers within target organizations to initiate the sales process
Recommend products and services that enhance customer satisfaction and profitability
Support reseller and partner communications throughout the sales cycle
Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market conditions
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery commitments
Present product features, pricing, and terms while preparing sales documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and sales reports
Stay current on market trends, customer preferences, and product offerings
Assist with marketing initiatives, including trade shows, events, and vendor engagements
Respond to routine product inquiries and escalate as needed
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Technology, Finance, or related field OR
Equivalent combination of education and at least 4 years of relevant business experience
Required Experience:
2–5 years of inside sales, sales support, or related experience
Experience supporting Federal or government sales environments is a plus
Required Skill and Competencies
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail with strong follow-up and time management skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move trade show materials and equipment as needed
