Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking an Injection Moulding Tool Setter for a well-established client in Aston. This full-time or part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate between £16 and £25. The role involves safely setting and changing injection moulding tools, starting up machines, and optimising processing parameters. Responsibilities include monitoring production quality, performing first-off inspections, and troubleshooting machine issues to minimise downtime. The successful candidate will conduct routine maintenance on tooling and machinery, collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Previous experience setting injection moulding machines and a solid understanding of the process are essential for this position. Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for Injection Moulding Tool Setters for our well established client in the heart of Birmingham.What You'll Be Doing Setting and changing injection moulding tools safely and efficiently. Starting up machines and optimising processing parameters. Monitoring production quality and carrying out first-off inspections. Troubleshooting machine and process issues to minimise downtime. Performing routine machine and tooling maintenance. Working closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste. What We're Looking For Previous experience setting injection moulding machines. Good understanding of injection moulding processes. Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Working Hours Full time- Monday to Friday 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm rotating shifts OR Part time- Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shifts (24 hours total) Pay £16 per hour for the full time role working weekdays only £25 per hour for the part time role working weekends only If you're an experienced Injection Moulding Tool Setter and interested in this position, please apply below!
