Join AYVA Packaging – Where Innovation Meets Opportunity Location: Wetherill Park Full-Time Shifts Available: • Night Shift: 23:00 – 07:30 The Role: Injection Moulding Technician Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for precision and quality? At AYVA Packaging, we’re looking for skilled technicians to join our dynamic production team. You’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing process, working with state-of-the-art injection moulding machines to create high-quality components that meet our clients’ exacting standards. You’ll collaborate with our Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure smooth operations, minimal waste, and maximum efficiency. What You’ll Be Doing • Set up machines for production and trials • Perform quality checks on moulds before production begins, and ensure products comply with quality standards • Start-up and shut-down of machines • Troubleshoot and maintain machines and mould dies • Respond to breakdowns and reduce downtime • Work closely with the Leading Hand and Production Team to meet output targets • Optimise machine cycle times and reduce waste • Keep your workspace clean and organised What We’re Looking For You’re mechanically minded, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy working with others and take pride in delivering top-quality results. To succeed in this role, you’ll need: • 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Die Setter or Plastics Technician • Strong mechanical and technical knowledge • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a passion to learn more • Experience with In-Mould Labelling • Experience with specific injection moulding machine brands (e.g., Engel, Arburg, Husky) preferred • A current forklift licence (preferred) • Unrestricted right to work in Australia • A passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement Relocation support available for the right candidate!
