Job Description Injection Moulding Designer | £35,000 to 38,000 | Hertfordshire (SG2) Shepherd Stubbs have partnered with key leader in Precision Engineering. This proven business has been in the home counties now for over 50 years and houses a team of 18 members – Made up of Engineering, workshop and back-office staff. They are now looking for another valuable candidate to join an ever-growing business! As a Designer of Injection Moulds, your eye for detail and precision will play a key part in ensuring the workshop meet the requirements desired by our customer base. The company has a vast client portfolio, spanning from the Medical, Automotive and packaging / Switchgear industries – so no day in designing is ever the same! Main Duties: – • Designing of new Injection Moulds • Design and spec of components used within Injection Moulds • Reviewing designs and editing where needed • DFM Manufacturing design • Use of 3D / 2D design methods Ideal candidate: • Work experience involving regular design of Injection Moulding is a must • Preferred knowledge of Creo and Solidworks systems • Excellent Communicator between your colleagues and customers • Proximity – within 20 miles of SG2 postcode region – Hertfordshire ideal • Able to work the hours of 8:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday • High attention to detail and ability to work within tight timeframes Company benefits include: 23 days paid holiday including bank holidays Free Annual health checks Regular company events & social gatherings Flexible working schedule – subject to agreement Opportunity for overtime on regular occasions including overtime/pension paid at up to 10% extra
