Description
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Lead Information Systems Security Manager to oversee security posture across cloud and network infrastructures for US federal clients. The role spans Risk Management Framework (RMF) leadership, authorization-to-operate (ATO) assessment, compliance management, and security incident response across traditional infrastructure, cloud platforms, and containerized environments.
What You'll Do
• Lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities across system lifecycle and maintain required security documentation
• Conduct thorough ATO assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement robust security controls to mitigate risks
• Develop and enforce security policies, monitor compliance with applicable security frameworks, and respond to security incidents with effective remediation strategies
• Manage RMF packages in enterprise GRC platforms, track security control performance, and drive timely POA&M closure
• Conduct security impact analysis for system, infrastructure, and application changes; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cybersecurity is embedded throughout IT infrastructure
What You Need
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (8+ years), or advanced degree with 5+ years of experience
• Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security governance principles
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and their administrative concepts
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ability to interpret and apply DISA STIG requirements across traditional, cloud, and containerized environments
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or automation language (e.g., Bash, Python, Go, Rust)
• DoD 8570/8140 IAM/IAT Level III compliant certification
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required
Nice to Have
• Background in DevSecOps, security automation, or secure CI/CD pipeline integration
• Experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure Government, or GovCloud
• Advanced Kubernetes security experience beyond basic administration
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automating deployments
• DevOps tools and workflows experience (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform)
• Additional certifications such as AWS DevOps Professional, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA), or Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
• Broader programming or automation experience beyond core scripting languages
$147,900–$175,400 USD base salary for specified states and locations; comprehensive benefits package available
