About This Role YaYa’s Yuniversity is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infant/Toddler Teacher to join the team. The ideal candidate is passionate about young scholars. What You'll Do • Supervise scholars and provide a safe and caring learning environment at all times • Create weekly lesson plans • Observe, document, and evaluate scholar's progress • Communicate effectively with families through Brightwheel • Establish and enforce positive behavioral expectations • Use a variety of teaching methods, including hands on activities, storytelling, and creative expression • Assist with basic needs, such as diapering and hygiene • Prepare and organize mealtimes • Attend professional development workshops (at least 30 ECE hours per year) Requirements • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) • Center base experience working with toddlers • A team-orientated player with a positive, professional attitude Nice to Have • A relevant degree or certificate in early childhood education or related field is often preferred Benefits • 80 hours of PTO • Paid vacation & holidays • Stipend for professional development opportunities • Discounted childcare • Aligned with Waxahachie ISD School calendar • Positive and fun environment with plenty of recognition
