About This Role We're looking for a dedicated and caring Infant Teacher to join our team at VIP Child Development Center. This role involves working with infants from 6 weeks to 12 months, supporting their growth and development, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment. What You'll Do Key Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional care to infants in our licensed childcare setting, adhering to state regulations and center policies. • Develop and implement tailored activities that foster the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child. • Track and document developmental progress and daily routines, providing detailed updates to parents. • Ensure a spotless, safe, and organized classroom space that promotes a sense of wonder and curiosity. • Nurture open communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily experiences and progress. • Maintain impeccable health and safety standards, adhering to sanitation and hygiene best practices. • Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with colleagues to achieve a positive and professional work culture. • Attend scheduled staff meetings, training sessions, and certification programs to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date. Requirements Qualifications: • Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred. • Must meet state licensing requirements for background checks and clearances. • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active play. • CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent required. Nice to Have Preferred Qualities: • Early Childhood Education certification or degree. • Bilingual or multilingual skills. • Experience with digital documentation and communication tools. • Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to changing circumstances.
