The Industrial Refrigeration Engineer - Kent Cover only position in Kent involves maintaining and repairing industrial refrigeration and chiller systems. This permanent role offers £24 per hour plus door-to-door travel and 1.5x overtime. Working for a global specialist, you will support clients in food production and distribution across Kent. Your responsibilities include servicing ammonia and freon systems, conducting fault-finding, and performing preventative maintenance. The role requires proven experience in industrial refrigeration, strong technical knowledge, and a full driving licence. Working hours are Monday to Friday, covering sites solely within Kent. Due to successful project wins and expansion, they are now looking to recruit an Industrial Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer to join their established team in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a business that operates on a global scale, delivering high-quality solutions across multiple sectors. The Role You will be part of a dedicated commercial and industrial refrigeration division, supporting key clients within the food production and distribution sectors. Day-to-day, you will be working across fully operational production environments, focusing on: Industrial refrigeration systems Glycol chillers Service, maintenance, and fault finding Supporting large-scale plant operations Ammonia project & service works - with additional training provided The business is also keen to support career progression and is open to: Experienced commercial refrigeration engineers looking to move into industrial Improver-level engineers seeking structured training and development What We’re Looking For Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience F-Gas Certification (C&G 2079) Full UK Driving Licence Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills A willingness to develop within industrial refrigeration (if not already experienced) Salary & Benefits Package £24 per hour (based on a 40-hour week) Door-to-door travel paid at 1.5x overtime rate Company bonus schemes Working hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch) Company van & fuel card 22 days holiday + bank holidays Christmas shutdown Call-out rota currently 1 in 4/5 and looking to rise (£150 standby payment) Company pension & death in service Sick pay scheme Tools, uniform & PPE provided
