Job # EEP25416 Job Title Industrial Engineer Office Location Katy, TX preferred Business Function/Department Power Electronics Systems/ UPS/MV Sales Territory, if applicable N/A General Role Description Optimize systems and processes in the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and medium voltage (MV) production operation to improve efficiency, productivity, and operational flow across people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Role Accountabilities -  Analyze production processes and workflows and recommend improvements including automation enhancements   -  Collect and analyze data related to operations, production, and coordination and recommend improvements to system performance via statistical analysis, process simulations, and predictive modeling -  Design and implement integrated systems that integrate employees, machines, materials, and information to maximize operational efficiency, including system modeling and capacity planning. Develop strategies for efficient allocation of resources such as labor, materials, and equipment to maximize production and reduce costs -  Lead the implementation of quality control measures to ensure products meet specified standards by establishing benchmarks and monitoring systems -  Perform cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and financial planning to ensure that production systems are cost-effective and within budget -  Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial operations, working to create a safe working environment -  Lead projects related to implementing new systems, tools, automation, and processes -  Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve overall system performance General Employee Accountabilities -   Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager -   Give manager best advice -   Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified -   Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager -   Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment -   Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws -   Recommend viable improvements proactively -   Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes Requirements Minimum Qualifications -   Bachelor of science in industrial engineering or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience -   2 years’ related work experience in industrial engineering -   Proficiency in industrial engineering principles, process design, and optimization techniques -   Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills, with knowledge of statistical and mathematical modeling -   Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, ERP systems {ORACLE}) and simulation tools. Ability to communicate findings, recommendations, and technical details clearly to cross-functional teams -   Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts -   Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills -   Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility -   Proficiency in MS Office programs -   Availability for travel, both domestically and internationally, up to 10%, occasionally with short notice Preferred Qualifications -   Master’s degree in industrial engineering -   Lean manufacturing and/or 6S concepts -   5 years’ relat
