Description
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially astute Indirect Tax Manager to join a growign and fast paced, global Group in Manchester.
You will take responsibility for all aspects of Indirect Tax advisory and compliance across the European entities. Ensuring timely and accurate submission of VAT returns, annual returns, EC sales lists, Intrastat, and all other submissions required to be made to HMRC. As well as providing indirect tax advice and recommendations to support the business in its decision making on global projects and overall strategy.
You will have excellent communication skills able to training and providing tax advice.
Ideal candidates will have significant experience in VAT accounting and financial reconciliations - likely to be 2/3 years post qualification
You will have excellent communication skills with all levels of staff, be confident delivering training
Strong UK/EU VAT technical knowledge and the ability to lead and support
Manchester based offices but offering flexibility and some work from home.
