My client is currently seeking a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly small animal practice from 5th May on an ongoing basis . This is a great opportunity for a vet looking for consistent work within a supportive, well-organised team environment. Practice Overview • Small animal only practice • Experienced 5-vet team • Open 7 days per week • No out-of-hours or on-call requirements • Accommodation provided Rota The practice runs a structured rota planned around three months in advance, allowing excellent notice for time-off requests. Average working hours are approximately 40 per week , typically consisting of: • 2 × 8:00am–7:00pm days • 1 × 8:00am–4:00pm day • 1 × 8:00am–5:00pm day • 1 in 4 weekends • Saturday: 9:00am–3:00pm • Sunday: 10:00am–3:00pm Candidate Requirements The client is keen to speak with locums who can confirm: • Ability to start at 8:00am and finish at 7:00pm when required • Availability for 1 in 4 weekends • Confidence with both consults and routine surgery • Comfort working as part of a rota-based team • Their typical consult volume expectations (steady vs busy day) • Hourly rate expectations • Approach to preventative healthcare If you are interested and would like to know more, please contact Dan – [email protected] | 01395 200189
