Permanent Create have teamed up with a globally recognised luxury fashion house to recruit an experienced Tailor to join their retail operations team in London. This is a client-facing role for a highly skilled tailor who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and delivering an exceptional in-store experience. The Role Provide expert tailoring and alteration services in close collaboration with the store team Consult with clients to understand fit preferences and garment requirements Carry out high-quality alterations, including hemming, sleeve adjustments, taking in/letting out seams, and garment refinements Deliver bespoke solutions with exceptional attention to detail and finish Ensure all work meets luxury brand standards and timelines Inspect finished garments to ensure accuracy, fit, and flawless execution Adhere to company and industry standards for quality, safety, and compliance Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient tailoring workspace Manage tailoring supplies and inventory, ordering replacements when required About You Proven experience as a tailor within luxury fashion, premium retail, or atelier environments Be able to confidently use specialist tailoring tools and equipment Strong technical skills in pattern cutting, fabric manipulation, and garment construction Confident working directly with clients and delivering a high-touch service Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and proud of your craft To express interest, please send your CV and your availability to [email protected]
