Our client is recruiting an  Import costing officer      Detailed responsibilities and target     ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform efficient and timely costing of imported equipment   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain and closely monitor the foreign creditors subledger   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure that stock items are properly posted in the accounting software   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Closely monitor invoices relating to freight, marine insurance, clearing, customs and local charges  ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monthly declaration of marine insurance to insurers  ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Organise perpetual and yearly stock take   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to work odd hours to assist the Finance Team to meet its reporting deadlines   Requirements    Qualifications required     ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum Higher School Certificate with Accounting at A-Level  &nbsp;   Required skills and experience      ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Two years’ experience in the import and costing field   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficiency with SAGE Evolution will be a definite advantage   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping Good organisational skills   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong team spirit   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good communication skills   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to work under pressure   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong analytical skills   ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Solution and result oriented  &nbsp;
