We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Immigration Consultant to join our team at the IBN office in Johannesburg . This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in immigration casework—particularly within South Africa or broader African regions—or a talented individual with a legal background and a strong desire to grow in the immigration field.
You’ll work closely with corporate clients, manage end-to-end immigration processes, and contribute to the success of our regional programs. We welcome both seasoned professionals and high-potential candidates eager to learn and make an impact.
As our Immigration Consultant , you will be required to:
Consult with corporate clients on immigration requirements and processes
Manage immigration casework for South Africa and other African countries
Provide clear, timely guidance to clients and internal stakeholders
Liaise with immigration authorities to resolve issues, escalate delays, or clarify procedures
Maintain high standards of compliance and service delivery
Support internal reporting and contribute to data accuracy
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, high-performance culture
To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Law degree or equivalent qualification preferrable
Prior experience in immigration casework (preferably for South Africa or African countries)
Experience consulting with corporate clients
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Keen attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Oral and written proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
