Description
Wall Street English is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher with IELTS and DSE expertise to join their team in Hong Kong. As a teacher, you will be at the heart of the student learning experience, working alongside a team of qualified educators and coaches to deliver a premium, student-centred service.
You will plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and dynamic lessons across all proficiency levels, helping students acquire English skills and communicate effectively. You will inspire learners through constructive feedback and ongoing encouragement as they progress through their course.
All Wall Street English teachers report to the Service Manager and are actively supported in their professional development through regular training and skills development seminars.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver fun, interactive, and results-driven classes to students at every level.
• Consistently motivate and support students in achieving their personal learning goals.
• Act as a mentor to newly joined teachers, offering guidance during their onboarding period.
• Ensure the Wall Street English teaching methodology is applied consistently across all classes.
• Actively represent and promote Wall Street English as a leading provider of English language education.
• Pursue continuous professional growth through new product training and personalised development pathways set by your manager.
• Teach Encounters, Complementary Classes, and Social Club Activities both in-centre and online.
• Optionally deliver classes to in-company students.
• Develop thorough lesson plans to ensure well-structured, purposeful sessions.
• Provide end-of-class feedback and motivation in line with the school's methodology.
• Record class outcomes accurately in Core Course (Staff Tools).
• Attend skills development seminars and staff meetings.
• Celebrate student milestones and achievements both in-centre and online.
Minimum Requirements
• Native or bilingual English speaker.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Holder of a CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL certificate.
