Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ICU/CCU Nurse to join a specialized cardiovascular hospital team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience caring for critically ill cardiac patients, including those recovering from cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, heart failure, and other complex cardiovascular conditions.
The ICU/CCU Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care, monitor critically ill patients, manage cardiac emergencies, and collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CCU/ICU).
• Monitor patients with complex cardiac conditions, including post-operative cardiac surgery cases.
• Manage ventilated patients, invasive monitoring systems, and critical care equipment.
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and recognize changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications, including cardiac medications, anticoagulants, and vasoactive drugs.
• Assist with emergency cardiac interventions and resuscitation procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and nursing reports.
• Educate patients and families regarding cardiac care and recovery.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license/registration from the relevant authority.
• Minimum 2–3 years of ICU/CCU nursing experience.
• Proven experience handling cardiac cases in a cardiovascular hospital or cardiac unit.
• Experience with post-cardiac surgery patients is highly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, ECG interpretation, and critical care practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular critical care environment.
