Description
Context As part of a major integration and platform modernization program, we are looking for an IBM Sterling Integrator Specialist to support, maintain, and evolve B2B integration flows in complex, business-critical environments. The role involves working on high-volume data exchanges, secure file transfers, and end-to-end integration processes using IBM Sterling Integrator, in close collaboration with internal IT teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and maintain IBM Sterling Integrator environments Design, develop, and troubleshoot business processes using BPML Manage and support B2B integrations (clients, partners, internal systems) Monitor and resolve incidents related to file transfers and integration flows Ensure secure data exchanges (encryption, certificates, protocols) Perform root-cause analysis and provide long-term fixes Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams Produce and maintain technical documentation Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (mandatory) Solid expertise in BPML and Sterling process flows Experience on Linux environments (RHEL / EL8 / EL9 or equivalent) Knowledge of B2B protocols: FTP/SFTP, HTTP/S, AS2 Understanding of encryption and security concepts (PGP, SSL/TLS, certificates) Experience troubleshooting end-to-end integration issues Familiarity with middleware and integration architectures Methodology & Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently on complex production issues Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders Rigorous, reliable, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in international and distributed teams Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Proven experience in IBM Sterling Integrator projects Experience in large-scale or mission-critical environments is a strong advantage Experience in cloud or data center migration projects is a plus Additional Information Contract Type: Freelance Start Date: To be defined Rate / Salary: Based on profile and experience
