Industrial We are seeking to recruit experienced and motivated Night Shift Hygiene Operative Team Leaders to join our clients growing team. You will be responsible for leading a small team of Hygiene Operatives to ensure all cleaning activities are completed to the highest standards, supporting food safety, and maintaining compliance with company and customer requirements. Working Hours • 6pm – 3am • 4 on / 4 off shift pattern • Including some weekends Key Responsibilities • Carry out cleaning tasks as outlined in cleaning instruction cards and work schedules • Lead and support a team of hygiene operatives • Adhere to all health & safety and food safety procedures • Perform daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning of machinery and production areas • Dismantle equipment for thorough deep cleaning • Safely handle and work with cleaning chemicals • Complete and maintain all required documentation and sign-offs • Provide cover for holidays and absences • Work closely with the Hygiene Manager and Hygiene Supervisor to drive continuous improvement and maintain high factory standards Requirements • Self-motivated and reliable • Strong team player with a proactive attitude • Excellent attention to detail and a conscientious approach • Proven track record of reliability and responsibility • Previous experience leading a small team is preferred, though transferable leadership skills will be considered Benefits • Holiday pay and pension scheme • Opportunities for career development • Full training provided Pay Rate £16.15 per hour Tel: 01376 330700 Email: [email protected] Quick Links Help Contact Us Contracts Support Services Ltd CSS House 10-12 Manor Street Braintree Essex CM7 3HP © 2026 CSS People.
