Our specialist business units   operate   across fluid power, electro-hydraulic engineering and design, undercarriages, and specialised maintenance and project services. Motion Australia has a significant presence in the Australian hydraulic sector through its CRAM businesses. About the role We are looking for a   skilled technician   with good fluid power experience, a proven ability to be able to work unsupervised and with high-level customer-service focus. This role includes work in both workshop and customer site environments.  Regular travel throughout New South Wales is  required , with occasional interstate travel . Offering technical and leadership development, with long-term career opportunities within Motion. What Your Day Will Look Like: • Diagnose  hydraulic faults using test equipment and your hydraulic system knowledge • Identify  and  quote  hydraulic components that require repair or replacement • Work  with hydraulic components and systems - breakdown, repair, and overhaul • Install  and  commission  hydraulic circuits on new and established equipment • Engage  with internal and external stakeholders at all levels • Ability  to complete work in both workshop and site environments Skills and   Ex perience: • Demonstrated  experience working as a Fitter and Machinist or Diesel Fitter is  essential • Certification  in Hydraulics will be highly regarded • Willingness and ability to travel throughout NSW  and occasionally interstate, including extended periods away from home. • A current valid driver’s licence – essential • Able  to understand and find faults on hydraulic circuits and components, including cylinders, pumps, valves, and motors • Competent  to read and interpret engineering & hydraulic circuit drawings • Excellent  interaction and communication skills • A customer-focused attitude   with  strong communication  skills • Ability  to work unsupervised and follow direction • Computer literate  at an Intermediate level What We Offer: We offer more than just a job — we offer a long-term career. • Market aligned   remuneration   with annual salary reviews:  Your salary grows with your skills and performance. • Provided   tool of trade:   Company vehicle + iPhone + laptop • Career Progression:  Clear pathways to develop and advance within Motion with access to free webinars, training   events   and courses. • Comprehensive Benefits:  Including retail discounts, bonus incentives, recognition programs, supplied uniforms, parental leave top-up   allowance   and access to wellbeing/employee   assistance   programs. • Eligible for  1   Good to Give Leave Day  per calendar year in addition to normal leave entitlements to   participate   in volunteering activities About Motion We are a Company who values relationships, therefore we need this role to always work to foster and  maintain  trusted relationships across all levels of our business and  seek  to support and add value to our store network, managers, and leaders.
