Description
We are looking for an experienced   HVAC Ductwork Installer  to work on   multifamily residential projects . This position involves installing duct systems in apartment buildings from rough-in through final, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring installations meet drawings, code, and project schedules. Responsibilities • Install sheet metal ductwork for multifamily apartment buildings • Perform rough-in and final duct installation within units and common areas • Install supply, return, exhaust, and makeup air duct systems • Seal, insulate, and support ductwork per plans and specifications • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schedules, and details • Coordinate installs with framing, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection trades • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite • Identify and report conflicts or field issues to supervision Requirements • Experience installing ductwork in multifamily or commercial projects • Knowledge of sheet metal practices, fittings, and materials • Ability to read construction and HVAC drawings • Strong attention to quality, airflow, and clearances • Ability to work from lifts, ladders, and in tight spaces • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to pass a background check Preferred (Nice to Have) • Prior experience with large apartment complexes or mixed-use buildings • Familiarity with IMC requirements and air balancing basics • OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification • Experience working with VAV, exhaust risers, or corridor systems What We Offer • Competitive pay based on experience • Steady multifamily project pipeline • Opportunities for advancement into lead roles • Professional, safety-focused work environment • 401(k) and Roth IRA options • Paid Time Off (PTO), increasing with tenure • Health, dental, and vision insurance
