Description
We are excited to be working alongside a secondary school based in Southampton that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join them in September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality history lessons tailored to the secondary school curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and progress.
• Assess and monitor student achievement, providing constructive feedback to ensure improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.
• Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold school policies.
Requirements:
• A degree in History or a related subject (teaching qualification preferred).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience teaching history to secondary school students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be available September 2025.
