JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Specialist at Christ Fellowship oversees core HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, and HRIS data integrity. Reporting directly to the HR Systems Administrator, this role delivers high-touch HR services to over 400 employees across multiple campus locations. The ideal candidate serves as a reliable liaison between staff and insurance providers while ensuring absolute accuracy in our employment and payroll systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: Payroll & HRIS Administration Gather, verify, and input employee data into ADP Workforce Now to execute accurate and timely payroll runs. Maintain real-time accuracy of organizational charts, personnel files, and system data within the HRIS. Manage employee lifecycle data entry, tracking hires, terminations, transfers, leaves, and promotions. Oversee the automated employment verification system and handle data reporting/analysis as needed. Benefits & Leave Management Administer comprehensive employee benefit plans, including Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), COBRA, and disability. Serve as the primary liaison with the insurance broker and mediate benefit-related inquiries or claims issues for staff. Manage leave administration (FMLA, short/long-term disability), tracking timelines and coordinating return-to-work plans. File and monitor workers' compensation claims to ensure compliance and timely resolution. Compliance & Employee Lifecycle Conduct monthly and annual compliance audits for insurance plans, ACA, and EEOC reporting. Design and facilitate payroll and benefits orientations for new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Conduct "Years of Service" check-ins to support employee retention and gather feedback. Cultivate professional, productive relationships with vendors and industry partners. EDUCATION: Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of relevant work experience Working knowledge of principles and procedures for compensation and benefits, labor relations, and personnel information systems. Working knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, human resources modeling, and coordination of people and resources.
