As a member of the HUGO BOSS Human Resources team, the HR Generalist provides support to all HR functions at our Distribution Facility in Midway Georgia, including talent review and acquisition, performance management, organizational capability and design, compensation, employee relations, leadership development and training to deliver easy access, quality service. What you can expect: · Partner in managing projects, programs and practices that engage, inspire, and recognize workforce performance. · Partner in implementing and communicating company policies and procedures and collecting bargaining agreement procedures to managers and team members. · Ensure all leave of absence and work compensation claims are managed timely and appropriately. · Manage employee relation matters for the office and facility. · Coach employees on policy and procedure applications, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution, and change management to promote a fair and equitable work environment. · Facilitate HR administration, including initiatives based on changes in compliance regulations. · Partner with Sr. HR Generalist to manage the blue collar recruitment process; place job postings, phone screen potential candidates, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, reference and background checks, rejection letters. · Partner with Sr. HR Generalist in managing employment process from New Hire Induction process for Corporate and Bargaining Unit team members through end of employment. · Manage and send out job abandonment letters, Georgia separation notices and any other change in employment letters required. · Manage and track processing and completion of all unemployment claims received for the DC population. · Partner with HR Manager in working with internal departments to resolve complex HR issues. · Take partnership with corporate NY to maintain and update organization charts as needed. · Create and maintain accurate job descriptions for every position, inclusive of Savannah Bargaining Unit positions. · Maintain compliance of employment posters shared by corporate NY and employment bulletin boards. · Manage employee record compliance and maintain files. · Complete employment verifications and letters of employment. · Prepare all HR related documents for HRIS entry (PAFs) and SAP data input. · Complete PAF’s and PAFT’s for all employees · Other duties, administrative tasks, research, and special projects as assigned. Your profile: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Psychology preferred. · At least 3-5 years of Generalist experience, preferable Union experience. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Strong follow-up skills. · Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail. · Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work effectively. · Strong relationship-building and customer service skills. · Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. · Ability to work with all levels of employees.
