About the role As a human neuroscientist at Nudge, you will: - Design, execute, and analyze ultrasound neuromodulation studies in humans - Integrate data from observational, behavioral, neuroimaging, and neuromodulation methodologies into experimental design - Translate insights from in vitro, animal, and engineering studies to human application - Contribute to strategies for exploring novel targets for neuromodulation based on internal and external research - Communicate scientific findings and results with engineering and other team members About you We are looking for scientists of all levels but regardless of your career level, you should have: - A PhD or postdoc in cognitive neuroscience, neuroengineering, or a similar science or engineering field - Strong neuromodulation and neurophysiology first principles - Experience with brain stimulation in humans, ideally with transcranial ultrasonic stimulation - Exceptional proficiency interventional data acquisition and analysis, including use of fMRI, behavioral, and physiological measurements - Exceptional proficiency with statistical analysis - Experience carrying out analyses in Python, R, and/or MATLAB - A demonstrated history of exceptional technical contribution - High integrity and strong professional judgement
