Diese Position berichtet an: HSE Specialist __ Your Role: Own the Challenge In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving occupational health and hygiene-related performance in your assigned area of responsibility by providing medical, occupational health, and hygiene expertise. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth knowledge and offering solutions and advice to cultivate a high-performance culture with a focus on occupational health and hygiene. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through excellence along the ABB value chain. The work model for the role is: On site Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role is contributing to the Juarez, Nuevo Leon factory. Key Responsibilities: • Lead occupational health programs by investigating incidents, conducting root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions, and sharing lessons learned to strengthen workplace safety and risk prevention. • Manage occupational medical services by providing care and follow-up for work-related injuries and illnesses, coordinating nursing staff, and ensuring effective administration of IMSS cases (ST2, ST7, ST9). • Promote employee health and well-being through preventive health campaigns and oversight of nutrition, psychological, and wellness programs that support a healthy workforce. • Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management by conducting psychosocial risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and industrial hygiene studies, while implementing preventive and corrective measures in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Monitor and report occupational health performance by tracking KPIs, measuring progress against health and hygiene objectives, and providing recommendations to management and key stakeholders for continuous improvement. Qualification s: • 3+ years of experience as a Medical Doctor, preferably in occupational health or an industrial/manufacturing environment. • Experience coordinating nursing staff, managing occupational health services, and providing effective medical case management and follow-up • Knowledge of psychosocial risk management, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, and applicable regulatory compliance requirements (including NOM-035 and NOM-036). • Strong ability to maintain medical records and regulatory documentation while handling confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity. • Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and support occupational health initiatives. • Intermediate English proficiency is preferred. • Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (MD) required, with a valid professional license to practice We also offer our employees the following benefits: • Performance Bonus • Saving fund • Paid parental leave • Life insurance • Retirement plan • Health and dental insurance • Wellbeing program • Flex days • Employee Assistance Program (PAE) • Access to development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF) Die Zukunft wird sauberer und intelligenter durch vielfältige Talente – neugierige, mutige und kreative.
