FLINT is seeking an HSE Lead with industrial experience for a temporary job in Taylor, BC starting ASAP. In this position, you will enjoy a continuous schedule, 12-hour workdays, LOA of $185/day, travel pay, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.
What would you be doing?
• Promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices among employees and subcontractors.
• Provide technical expertise and support for HSE training and development.
• Assist management with incident investigations and reporting. Ensure cause and corrective actions are implemented.
• Advise on compliance related to OHS and company standards.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas, turnaround experience preferred.
• Education in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field as well as specialized certifications and Journeyperson certificates are considered assets.
• Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and/or Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (OHS) preferred.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
• H2S Alive
• Confined Space Entry
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
• Fall Protection
• Standard First Aid
• WHMIS
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.
• Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
Hourly rate for an employee is $60.
