SENIOR MANAGER – LIFE ACTUARY – BERMUDA – 10% TAX – HR131 About this opportunity We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Life Actuary to join our clients Bermuda office. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading (re)insurers and financial institutions, providing strategic, regulatory, and actuarial advisory services across a wide range of life insurance products and business challenges. The successful candidate will bring deep technical actuarial expertise, strong knowledge of the Bermuda regulatory environment, and a proven ability to drive business development and client relationships. What you’ll do: • Advise on Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) requirements, including Economic Balance Sheet (EBS), Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement (BSCR) and Scenario-Based Approach (SBA) • Lead actuarial advisory engagements across valuation, capital, and financial modelling • Support clients on capital management, ERM frameworks, and CISSA • Work across asset-intensive strategies, ALM, and investment analytics • Apply expertise in US life products (e.g., annuities, UL, VUL, FIA) • Review and challenge actuarial models, assumptions, and methodologies • Build client relationships and lead business development efforts • Manage and mentor teams, ensuring high-quality delivery What you’ll need • Qualified actuary (FSA, FIA or equivalent) • 8+ years’ experience in life insurance/reinsurance • Strong knowledge of the Bermuda regulatory framework (BSCR, EBS, SBA) • Deep technical skills across modelling, valuation, capital, and risk • Experience with US life insurance products and reserving frameworks • Proven ability to win work and manage senior client relationships • Strong communication and leadership skills How to apply • To apply, attach your résumé or include a link to your LinkedIn profile • If you don't provide one of the above, we can't progress your application For reasons of confidentiality and to ensure best match for positions, our normal practice is to submit applications to employers only after we have had a Career Consultation with candidates.
