VICE PRESIDENT – REINSURANCE – P&C – BERMUDA – ONLY 10% TAX – HR102 About this opportunity Our client is a global provider of specialty insurance and reinsurance solutions, headquartered in a premier international insurance hub. The organization leverages advanced analytics and research to drive underwriting and investment value for its diverse clientele and shareholders. Reporting to the Head of Pricing for the reinsurance division, the successful candidate will collaborate with risk analysts to enhance a data-driven underwriting strategy. This role is pivotal in applying expertise across pricing, reserving, and capital modeling to optimize the actuarial processes utilized by the broader risk and underwriting teams. What you’ll need • Professional actuarial designation (FCAS or equivalent) or a postgraduate degree in Statistics or Mathematics • At least 10 years of experience in a pricing role within the reinsurance industry • Proven expertise in reinsurance contract pricing, including excess of loss and proportional contracts • Experienced in evaluating common contract features and structures • Ability to effectively communicate analytical findings to diverse stakeholders • Proficient in programming with VBA, SQL, and R • Familiarity with catastrophe and risk aggregation models • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment How to apply • To apply, attach your résumé or include a link to your LinkedIn profile • If you don't provide one of the above, we can't progress your application For reasons of confidentiality and to ensure best match for positions, our normal practice is to submit applications to employers only after we have had a Career Consultation with candidates.
