Do you enjoy connecting with business leaders, shaping HR strategy, and supporting growth across multiple domains? Then you might be the person we’re looking for. As an HR Business Partner at Daikin Europe, you act as the trusted advisor for several business units — with a strong focus on our sales organisations. You build close relationships with managers, translate business needs into HR actions, and use data to guide decisions. Together with your HR BP colleagues, you strengthen our organisation across workforce planning, talent management, leadership development, culture, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities: Strategic impact • Partner with business managers to translate their longterm growth ambitions into a solid HR roadmap. Shape organisational and team development initiatives in a truly international context. Collaborate closely with HR colleagues at HQ (Belgium) and across our European subsidiaries. Lead and contribute to projects on workforce planning, recruitment, competence development, talent identification, retention, and more. Operational excellence & daily partnership You are the first point of contact for business leaders and support them in areas such as: HR process optimisation – Adapt and refine HR processes to match evolving business needs. Change management – Guide managers and employees in building a resilient, futureready mindset. Selection & recruitment – Support finalstage hiring decisions and challenge the business with creative, longterm talent solutions. Performance management – Colead the annual performance review cycle for employees and management. Retention & resilience – Use data to identify risks and opportunities, and roll out initiatives such as career pathways, development programs, and workshops. Reporting & analytics – Own and improve reporting for your departments, using data to drive decisions. Talent & leadership development – Help managers identify and grow their talent pools. Stakeholder management – Align with social partners, managers, employees, and HR colleagues on key topics. Your profile Master’s degree, preferably in an economic field, with interest in social law. Enjoys variety and switching between different business domains. Proactive, diplomatic, and solutionoriented. Willing to travel up to 20% across BE, and towards our subsidiaries. Strong analytical skills; comfortable with tools like Excel and SAP. Creative, hands-on, and able to drive projects to completion. Fluent in Dutch and English.
