South West London (Lambeth) | 4 Days On Site, 1 Day Home Working | £28.56 per hour (Umbrella) | Ongoing Temporary Contract We're recruiting for a Housing Officer to join a respected social housing organisation that manages thousands of homes across London. With a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, investing in communities and improving residents' quality of life, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a team where your work will genuinely make a difference. The Role Based from the South West London (Lambeth) office, you'll be responsible for managing a patch of approximately 190–200 homes, delivering a proactive and customer-focused housing management service. Working predominantly on-site, you'll build strong relationships with residents while ensuring estates are safe, well-managed and thriving. Key Responsibilities • Manage a housing patch of approximately 190–200 homes. • Deliver high-quality tenancy and estate management services. • Build positive relationships with residents through regular estate inspections and face-to-face engagement. • Investigate and manage Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) cases through to resolution. • Work closely with repairs teams, contractors and internal departments to resolve resident issues. • Manage service charge enquiries and support residents with tenancy-related matters. • Ensure estates remain safe, clean and compliant with health and safety requirements. • Support safeguarding concerns and take ownership of resident issues through to completion. • Maintain accurate records and deliver an excellent customer experience throughout. About You • Previous experience working as a Housing Officer within social housing. • Strong knowledge of tenancy management, estate management and ASB. • Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills. • The ability to manage a busy and varied workload independently. • Strong IT skills and experience maintaining accurate case records. • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for supporting residents.
