Our team includes housing conditions officers, solicitors, and building surveyors, all dedicated to delivering fast, reliable help. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Housing Conditions Officer to conduct home inspections across London. You’ll be responsible for identifying housing issues (e.g., damp, mould, leaks, structural problems), documenting findings, and compiling reports to support housing claims and repairs. The role is remote, but you’ll collaborate with our team daily. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct on-site property inspections • Identify and document housing disrepair issues • Take images and meter readings as evidence • Complete accurate inspection reports • Explain findings clearly to residents • Liaise with caseworkers, solicitors, and support staff • Adhere to GDPR and Health & Safety protocols Requirements: • Experience in property surveying, housing inspections, or building maintenance • Knowledge of common housing disrepair issues • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated with strong time management skills • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule • Full UK driving licence and access to a car Desirable: • Experience in social housing or tenant support • Confident in handling objections and difficult conversations What We Offer: • Mileage and travel expenses covered • Ongoing training and development • Opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives • Birthday day off • 21 days annual leave + bank holidays • Pension scheme • Incentives and team activities
