Objective As a public area cleaner at the Ambassade Group, you will contribute to a clean, welcoming and attractive environment for guests and colleagues. Daily tasks • Laundry service • Cleaning of staff locker rooms • Cleaning of all public areas • Cleaning of the Library Bar and Lounge • Corridor cleaning • Cleaning of the toilets (for guests and staff) • Cleaning of the offices (F&B, Herengracht 319 and the hotel) • If necessary, support of the housekeeping team with cleaning of rooms Projects • Thinking along with improvement of cleaning processes. Teamwork and collaboration • Monitoring and communication: report any damage or leaks to supervisor. • Support: Support room attendants as needed (in consultation with supervisor). Qualifications • Experience in a similar cleaning position, preferably in a hotel environment. • Hard skills: Thorough knowledge of cleaning products and techniques. • Soft skills: Good communication skills, proactive and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working conditions • Standard working hours with possible variations, including weekends and holidays. • Prolonged standing, frequent lifting of heavy objects, and physical labor during cleaning duties. • Indoor and sometimes outdoor environment. • Contact with cleaning products.
