JOB SUMMARY Provide day-to-day household cleaning, organization, and errands of the Ranch.  Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining and managing household inventories; reporting items that need to be repaired or replaced; running household errands; assisting with parties and gatherings as needed.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Sweep and mop floors Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, draperies and upholstery Dust clean, and polish furniture, fixtures and fittings, clean surfaces  Empty and clean trash containers disposing of trash in a sanitary manner  Clean basins, mirrors, tubs and showers Tidy rooms, make up beds and change linens, as required Wash interior windows and exterior, as required Sort, wash, load and unload general laundry Iron and press laundry including clothing and linen Sort, fold and put away clean rags away laundry  Act as runners for mail delivery or meal delivery Operate cleaning equipment, as required Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in safe and sanitary working conditions Wash dishes, clean kitchen and appliances Maintain organized garages and any storage areas. Maintain organized outdoor areas including covering BBQs when away from the house as well as putting on furniture covers as necessary (out of town, weather, etc.) Answer door/telephone professionally Set dining table to Family preference Work on Weekend, holiday and off hours as needed occasionally Maintain any company owned equipment assigned to you (phone, computer etc) Other duties as needed  assigned by supervisor or management EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Housekeeping experience, preferred Meticulous attention to detail Ability to interact with guests, as needed Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities Able to adjust for fast paced environment and changes to schedule Ability to understand owner preferences/expectations Respect for, and emphasis on, confidentiality and privacy in regard to the owner’s private life PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS Bending, stooping, reaching Working in cramped spaces; step stools and or ladders Pushing, pulling, lifting up to 45 pounds Working with cleaning solutions and solvents Working in outdoors with or without wet, dusty or windy weather conditions Able to drive a side by side “Utility” vehicle Able to drive a large Sprinter van Valid Driver License Reliable vehicle to get to and from work or other reliable transportation COMPETENCIES Communication:  Communicates clearly and concisely, both written and verbal.  Able to communicate insights and understanding of issues or problems in a skillful way with colleagues, external parties and owners.  Passes on important information.
