Hotel Manager The quality and success of a cruise rest s significantly on the capable shoulders of the Hotel Manager. Requirements: • University Degree in Management or in Hospitality Management • REQUIRED: A minimum of 4-5 years of experience as Hotel General Manager, Corporate Hotel Manager, Operations Manager on river cruise ships or 4- & 5-stars hotels • fluency in German and English, in both speaking and writing both written and spoken • very good people skills and conflict resolution abilities • ability to motivate people to perform at their best, setting your own performance as their example • g uest-focused and service-oriented • excellent administration and logistics skills • excellent organization and time management skills • knowledge of basic accounting principles • ability and trustworthiness to handle and be accountable for cash transaction of the front office operations Responsibilities: • manage the entire hotel operation according to company policies • manage and motivate the crew, with emphasis on Heads of Department • provide training for the new CREW MEMBERS and facilitate fast integration • building a pleasant work environment for all crew • responsible to implement service procedures • ensure s exceptional service and maximum guest satisfaction at all times • responsible for achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost and quality control, at the same time ensuring outstanding guest and team satisfaction • over viewing cost and budget • supervise general administrative tasks • organize and conduct check-in and check-out • cooperate and coordinate with nautical department and company’s offices
