Host/Hostess Position   Jacinta About Us Jacinta is an upscale dining establishment located in the vibrant Aventura neighborhood. We are seeking an energetic and professional Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team and create memorable first impressions for our guests. Position Overview The Host/Hostess serves as the first point of contact for our guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who visit our restaurant. Key Responsibilities • Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival • Manage restaurant reservations through our booking system • Coordinate seating arrangements and maintain optimal dining room flow • Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries • Maintain an organized and clean reception area • Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff • Assist in maintaining waiting lists during peak hours • Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Requirements • Must be available to work flexible hours, including: • Lunch and dinner shifts • Weekends • Holidays • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) • Spanish language proficiency is a plus • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills • Professional appearance and positive attitude • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Previous hospitality experience preferred Physical Requirements • Ability to stand for extended periods • Capable of moving throughout the restaurant quickly and efficiently • May need to assist with light lifting and carrying (up to 15 lbs) What We Offer • Competitive compensation • Growth opportunities • Dynamic work environment • Employee dining benefits • Professional development Schedule • Full-time and part-time positions available • Must have open availability for various shifts • Schedule will include weekends and holidays To Apply Qualified candidates should submit their resume and cover letter detailing their relevant experience and availability.
