As we continue to expand our services and grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join ouar finance team.Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the financial operations within our hospital. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, as well as maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and accounting standards.ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day financial activities of the hospital, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Coordinate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets.Oversee internal controls to safeguard hospital assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and development.QualificationsAdvanced Diploma in Accounting or Finance.Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare or related care finance or accounting roles, with at least one year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.Thorough understanding of healthcare accounting principles and regulations, including Medical Insurance Reimbursement Scheme.Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, IFRS, etc.Working proficiency in hospital management or accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Experience with financial reporting and analysis.Ability to work independently and able to produce all key Financial Statements,Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.BenefitsCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.A supportive and collaborative work environment dedicated to promoting employee well-being and work-life balance.The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.How to ApplyIf you are passionate about healthcare finance and ready to take on this rewarding opportunity, please submit your resume and cover letter to [[email protected]].
