THIS IS A PRN POSITION FOR DENTON TX AREA The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role focuses on supporting patients with daily living activities, promoting comfort and safety, and assisting the clinical team in delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating . • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly • Assist with patient mobility, including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment, including changing linens and sanitizing equipment • Document care provided and update patient records accurately • Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with procedures and care tasks Qualifications & Requirements • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas. • High school diploma or equivalent • Current CPR and proof of auto insurance • Valid Driver’s License • Must pass drug test • Basic knowledge of patient care practices and medical terminology • Ability to follow care plans and instructions from nursing staff • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods • Knowledge of Point Care charting system preferred but not required.
