We are currently looking for Homologation & Product Compliance Specialist the details Job responsibilities as below: 👤 Who You Are: The Homologation & Product Compliance Specialist will be based at the GAC Motor Europe Headquarters in the Netherlands and will be responsible for supporting vehicle homologation, certification, registration, and product compliance activities across European markets. The role ensures that vehicles and related products comply with applicable European Union regulations as well as country-specific regulatory requirements, supporting successful product launches and lifecycle compliance throughout Europe. 🎯 Key Responsibilities: Support vehicle homologation, type approval, and product compliance activities for European markets in accordance with EU legislation and applicable national regulations. Monitor European and country-specific automotive legislation, regulatory developments, and industry standards, assessing their impact on products and business operations. Prepare, maintain, and manage technical documentation required for national approvals, certification, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with European approval authorities, technical services, certification bodies, industry associations, and internal cross-functional teams regarding homologation and compliance matters. Support vehicle registration activities across European markets, registration documentation, and country-specific registration requirements. Coordinate End of Series (EOS) derogation applications and other market-specific regulatory processes where applicable. Support market surveillance activities, regulatory reporting, and product recall campaigns in accordance with European and national regulations. Ensure compliance with environmental and product-related legislation, including ELV, Battery Regulation, WEEE, REACH, Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), F-Gas, Ecodesign, and other applicable European legislation. Collaborate with Engineering, Product Planning, Quality, Legal, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Support the introduction of new products into European markets by identifying homologation requirements, certification timelines, and regulatory risks. Provide regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement of homologation and compliance processes. 💼 What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
