The role As a Home Care Assistant you will visit clients in their own homes and support them with personal care, mobility and moving & handling, meal preparation, light household tasks, medication prompts, and just as importantly companionship and a familiar friendly face. Shifts available • Monday to Friday: full days, or mornings and/or evenings — you choose your availability • Weekends: morning and/or evening runs — great as a top-up or a weekend-only role What we offer • Competitive hourly rates — €14.80 – €21.06 per hour • Induction and full in-house training — including Patient Moving & Handling, BLS, Fire Safety and more • Local runs – clients grouped close to home so you spend time caring, not commuting • Flexible rosters -built around your availability, ideal alongside family or study commitments • A supportive local office team – real people in Waterford, not a call centre What you’ll need • Kind, reliable and a great communicator -experience caring for a family member counts • QQI Level 5 (Care Skills & Care of the Older Person) completed or actively working towards it. • Full driving licence and access to your own car (required for community-based visits) • Eligible to work in Ireland • Willing to complete Garda Vetting (we arrange this for you) and provide two references Apply today with your CV, or send us a quick application – no cover letter needed.
