Description
Work with us on topics of digitalisation and Industry 4.0. Your task will be to design, construct, program, and ultimately implement new retrofit solutions and sensors to further advance the digitalisation of IKV. About the field of activity: Industry 4.0 and digitalisation are still the hot topics in plastics processing. The aim is often to create a digital shadow for complete digital mapping of the process. Retrofits can be used to enable existing systems to take this step. At IKV, for example, a measuring device based on a Raspberry PI was developed for film extrusion to record pressures and temperatures recorded during the process. Other examples include in-house developments of sensors for recording temperatures or humidity, for example, which have been integrated into IKV’s digital infrastructure as IoT devices. Your possible tasks: • Design of new measuring sensors for extrusion processes • Assembling and commissioning the solutions you have developed • Construction of measurement setups in CAD and assembly on site • Integrating IoT devices into the digital infrastructure • Programming of software solutions and services • … and much more Your profile: • Independent, conscientious and team-oriented way of working • Technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering) or computer science/CAE • Enjoy practical work • Experience in a programming language (e.g. Python, C++, Java, Javascript) is desirable, but not necessary • Enjoy programming and be enthusiastic about the possibilities in the Industry 4.0 environment We offer you: • Implement and develop your programming skills using use cases that come directly from practice • Flexible working hours, working from home is a matter of course • A say in the selection of projects and ideas • The opportunity to later write a thesis in the subject area at IKV • An open-minded team where a friendly working atmosphere is guaranteed If you have any questions about the position, please contact me!
