Full Stack Developer (Node.js / Next.js) Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to RM 9,000 per month Nationality: Malaysian Citizens Only Notice Period: Maximum 30 Days About the Role We are looking for a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern web application development using TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, AWS services, and automated testing frameworks. As part of the hiring process, candidates will be required to complete a coding assessment covering the technical skills listed below. Candidates without exposure to these technologies are unlikely to succeed in the assessment. Requirements Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js. Build and integrate APIs using GraphQL. Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services. Implement and maintain automated testing for applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. Required Skills Core Technical Skills TypeScript Node.js Next.js GraphQL AWS Experience Hands-on experience with: AWS Lambda DynamoDB Amazon SQS AWS Secrets Manager Testing Experience Unit Testing using Jest or Vitest End-to-End (E2E) Testing using Playwright or Cypress Experience Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in: TypeScript Node.js Next.js GraphQL AWS Services Minimum 6 months of experience in automated testing using: Jest or Vitest Cypress or Playwright Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of software development best practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Important Note All shortlisted candidates will undergo a technical coding assessment covering: TypeScript Node.js Next.js AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, Secrets Manager) GraphQL Unit Testing (Jest/Vitest) E2E Testing (Playwright/Cypress) Candidates should have practical exposure to all of the above technologies to be successful in the assessment process.
