Our Mission is “to be the preferred choice in our field by adding value to our business partners without compromise to quality, safety or the environment.” Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced night works Highways and Civils Supervisor to work on our long-term contract located in South Gloucester. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. The Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that teams perform their duties efficiently while maintaining high standards. Duties • Supervise civils teams working on large scale highways schemas including drainage, kerb laying, road widening projects, cycle lanes, reinstatement etc. • Provide guidance and support to ensure works are completed to a high standard and within specified timeframes. • Supervise daily operational activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and health and safety regulations. • Maintain clear communication channels within the teams and report to management on productivity and issues that arise. Requirements • Previous experience in highways specific engineering works • SSSTS or SMSTS qualifications • Streetworks • CSCS • Full UK Driving Licence • Willing to work nights as this role will primarily be overseeing night operations. • Ability to problem solve in a proactive manor and liaise with engineers and management on site. Details • Van and fuel card supplied for work purposes only • PPE supplied • 7pm start, 9 hour shifts • Self-employed, paid 1 week in arrears • Day rate between £275 – £320 per shift depending on experience.
