Job Description – High Voltage Technician Position: High Voltage Technician Location: Stockholm Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and experienced High Voltage Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with high-voltage vehicle systems and complete High Voltage training from another automotive brand. The technician will be responsible for diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of electric vehicles, including high-voltage batteries, electrical systems, and related components. Strong technical knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to work with English technical documentation are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities      Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on electric vehicles.      Safely handle high-voltage systems, batteries, and electrical components.      Identify technical issues and perform repairs according to manufacturer procedures.      Use diagnostic equipment and digital repair systems to analyze and resolve vehicle issues.      Read, understand, and follow technical repair manuals and documentation in English.      Search technical databases and repair systems using English terminology.      Perform inspections, testing, and quality checks after repair work.      Follow all high-voltage safety procedures and workshop standards.      Collaborate with service teams to ensure efficient and high-quality vehicle repairs.      Participate in technical training and continuous skills development. Required Qualifications & Experience      Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably within electric vehicles (EVs).      Completed High Voltage (HV) training from another automotive brand is required.      Documented proof/certificate of previous High Voltage training is highly preferred.      Strong understanding of high-voltage vehicle systems and safety procedures.      Experience with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.      Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions accurately.      Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety and quality. Language Requirements      Good English communication skills are required.      Ability to read and understand repair manuals and technical documentation in English.      Ability to search and use digital technical systems in English.      Local language skills are considered an advantage. Preferred Experience      Experience working with electric vehicle brands or modern vehicle technologies.      Knowledge of high-voltage batteries, electric drivetrains, and vehicle electronics.      Experience with diagnostic tools and automotive repair platforms.      Background from brands such as Tesla, Volkswagen, Volvo, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Polestar, or similar is an advantage.
