What You'll Do Reporting to the Operations Manager, the HV Commissioning Manager is responsible for facilitating, establishing, and executing plans policies, and construction activities to their assigned projects. This role is responsible for facilitating the implementation of the company’s priorities and objectives while coordinating between the Operations Manager, Project Managers, and their assigned Commissioning Team. The HV Manager will oversee and direct a team of Commissioning Technologists as well as subcontracted commissioning teams, oversee operations and deliverables of Rising Edge Technologies while establishing long-term relationships with clients and business partners. This role will also focus on the continuous improvement of the company’s business model to maximize productivity and growth. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Manage a team of assigned Commissioning Technologists or subcontracted commissioning teams, Qualified Electrical Workers and client vendors on a client project Primarily a field role, ability to work in remote locations most of the time Ability to oversee/supervise multiple HV/MV projects and commissioning and switching deliverables Ensure all project safety protocols / procedures are followed, and safety standards are met during the planning and execution of Commissioning project phases with the ability to adapt them to the specific needs and unique risks Responsible for the overall assigned team, project planning, execution, training and supervision of personnel Responsible for the safe and timely execution of all Commissioning and Switching activities and integration of these activities with both Project and Operations Provide technical support to all Project Managers and Field Staff as required Prepare/Review/Approve test procedures, safety procedures and policies Responsible for managing interfaces with the Operations Manager, Construction and Commissioning Managers and their respective teams Coordinates with Engineering to ensure that Commissioning and Start-up Engineering deliverables are met Attends site visits, commissioning kick off meetings, training sessions, and provides technical assistance during project execution as required Supervise and work safely alongside all members of the on site team Lead client meetings, schedules, issue resolutions, and deficiency resolutions for projects Craft proposals for client RFPs and project pricing requests Maintain effective communication with all project participants to ensure projects are being executed on time and within budget Take an active role in coaching all junior staff to ensure developmental needs for the individual and the business are met Assessments, development as well as working with HR on tracking employee development, and completing employee reviews on the assigned Commissioning Team Works closely with the Project Management Team to ensure the requirements for the Commissioning and Energization phase are clearly communicated and underst
