Our client — a busy and well-established commercial vehicle operation in Thameshead — is looking for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. Whether you currently work as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Truck Mechanic, this is a strong opportunity to join a professional environment with solid earning potential and shift variety. Salary: £25,000 Plus Bonus Hours: Flexible Working Hours Why you’ll love this role • Company Pension • Life Insurance • Days out • Join a busy, well-equipped commercial workshop with consistent workload • Strong earning potential with overtime and productivity available • Clear shift pattern with no weekend working • Work to manufacturer standards with proper tooling and systems • Supportive team environment where quality and efficiency matter • Long-term stability within a successful commercial vehicle business What you’ll be doing (and doing brilliantly) • Carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles • Completing work efficiently while meeting manufacturer time standards • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to a high standard • Accurately recording all work completed, diagnostics and parts used • Liaising professionally with customers and internal teams where required • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction What we’re looking for • Qualified HGV Technician with Level 3 qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds) • Proven experience servicing, repairing and diagnosing HGV vehicles • Confident working to MOT standards and manufacturer guidelines • C or C+E licence advantageous but not essential • Previous roadside HGV experience beneficial • Strong attention to detail and a professional, team-focused attitude Sound like you?
